in 1976 she was a global celebrity when she recorded the world's first perfect 10 on the asymmetrical bar in the Montreal Olympic Games. To add to that her score, she was able to rack up another six perfect 10s making her the youngest overall Olympic gold medalist. She was barely 14 years old.
